NEW YORK -

All 205 passengers onboard a Delta plane at JFK are OK after a fire erupted before takeoff.

Officials say a fire erupted Monday night in the brakes of the tires as the plane was taxiing for takeoff.

Fire crews rushed to the airliner to extinguish the fire.

The Boeing 767 was headed to Ghana at the time.

All passengers are being rebooked.
