#N12BK: NYC School bus complaints

A hearing will be held to address various complaints about school buses in the city, officials say.
According to published reports, the city’s Yellow Bus help line received nearly 130,000 complaint calls from the beginning of the school year to Oct. 1.
Residents can call 311 to report Yellow Bus service issues.
The Department of Education lists scores of bus delays on its website on a daily basis.
According to the Daily News, the DOEs website reported over 1,000 problems in just one day.
Brooklyn Councilman Mark Treyger, the chair of the City Council Education Committee, will be hosting a hearing on bus issues on Oct. 16.
