Teachers help find missing Canarsie teen with autism

A 17-year-old boy who went missing from his Canarsie home has been found thanks to the efforts of teachers from P.S. 370.
Tyrell Cobourn went missing for three days, leaving his grandmother distraught. Veronica Cobourn says her grandson asked to go to the bathroom and never returned.
A mass email was sent out to everyone at the school to alert them that Cobourn went missing. Information was also posted on the school's social media accounts. Teachers began to respond back to the email to gather any information people may have had. Finally, someone sent them a video that showed images that may have been Cobourn.
One teacher recognized where he may have been and with the help of some other teachers the search was on.
Moments later the teachers received a text message that Cobourn was found at a police station in Times Square and taken to a nearby hospital.
Cobourn's grandmother says she has given him a new cellphone with a tracking app so hopefully it doesn't happen again.
