A fifth-grader from Milford is set to show off his agility  on the upcoming season of "American Ninja Warrior Junior."
Collin Cella, 10, says he played plenty of sports when he was younger, but never got into any until he watched the NBC show "American Ninja Warrior."
Cella took a quick interest and began training his strength and speed at New Era Ninjas in Hamden and competing for their team.
Cella's family also turned their garage into his own personal gym.
Nicknamed the "course crusher," Cella won nationals this year in his age division.
His dream was to appear on his favorite show once he was old enough, but with the new kid version, he doesn't have to wait.
Cella was one of nearly 200 kids ages 9 to 14 picked to compete in Los Angeles over the summer.
His mom says he appears in at least four of the season's 19 episodes. But those wondering exactly how far he got will have to tune in to find out.
“American Ninja Warrior Junior” premieres Saturday on the Universal Kids Network, Optimum channel 130.
Seven other kids from Connecticut will also appear on the show this season.
