Police: Pedestrian seriously hurt in Norwalk hit-and-run

NORWALK -

Norwalk police say a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run Sunday, and officials are now looking for the driver who left the scene.

It happened on Strawberry Hill Avenue near Roxbury Road.

The victim was taken to Norwalk Hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators say they are looking for a Black Honda SUV missing a right side-view mirror and possible damage to the right side

They say the vehicle fled heading north on Strawberry Hill Avenue toward Westport Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
