Doctors are urging seniors across Connecticut to get their flu shots.
Doctors say this month is an ideal time to get the shot. Places like the Milford Senior Center recently held a flu shot clinic and attendance was high.
Seniors say they hear the message loud and clear.
"Don't hesitate," says Dolly Bonisch, of Milford. "I didn't even feel it when I got it. It doesn't hurt and it really protects you."
