Health officials confirm 2nd flu-related death in CT

The state Department of Public Health has announced Connecticut's second flu-related death this season.

The individual was between 50 and 64 years old.

A total of 23 people have been hospitalized due to the flu between Aug. 26 and Oct. 20.

Officials are urging residents not to wait to get vaccinated.
