Police: Driver hits bicyclist, takes off in Norwalk

NORWALK -

Police are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run in Norwalk Friday.

Police say the accident happened at Norden Place when the driver hit a bicyclist, left him unconscious on the side of the road and took off on Winfield Street.

The victim's family says he is suffering from multiple breaks to one of his legs, a concussion and multiple broken vertebrae.

Police say the search for the driver is ongoing. They say they have witnesses and feel confident that they will catch him.
