Stratford student selected to play in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade band

A Bunnell High School senior will be in Manhattan next week to be part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Christopher Gulish was selected to play in the Macy's Great American Marching Band for the 94th installment of the parade.

Gulish is an accomplished trumpet player. He will be part of the 200-member band made up of the top high school musicians from around the country.

Gulish has been part of the Bunnell marching band since he was in the eighth grade. The band just won its third straight state championship.
