When it comes to crafting things, 68-year-old Norman says it comes naturally.
News 12 reporter Joanna Hernandez met with him in the Bronx, where he has made a reputation in his neighborhood to be a handyman of many things.
“It’s been cool to see how people treat me, sometimes I feel like a celebrity. I’m just an ordinary guy that makes things in my free time,” he says.
Norman believes in recycling things and uses anything he can find to make chests, clothes, frames, speakers - anything he can get his hands on.
“New York City is really beautiful. I’m inspired every day by the architecture and the people. I always tell people to do what you want to do. Don’t wait until it’s too late,” Norman shares.
