Police investigate unrelated shooting and stabbing in Jersey City

Police are investigating two unrelated incidents that happened in Jersey City between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
They say they responded to a call around 10:45 p.m. Saturday night where a 23-year-old man was shot.
The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and police say the incident appeared to be caused by an ongoing domestic dispute.
The man is in stable condition.
Police also responded to a call around 2 a.m. Sunday morning where a 25-year-old woman was stabbed and robbed.
The woman says she was robbed on her way home from work. She was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening stab wounds.
She is listed in critical but stable condition.
