Some of man's best friends got to meet Santa Saturday for a good cause.
The Stratford Animal Rescue Society hosted their annual Holiday Evergreen fundraiser.
They sold wreaths, kissing balls, cemetery pieces and a pet boutique. And of course, the dogs had a chance to take pictures with Santa.
All proceeds benefit the animals impounded at Stratford Animal Control and help them find a home.
"People in our community are great participants and supporters of this program, so they love this sale," says Karen Tracy, president of the Stratford Animal Rescue Society. "They come year after year. Every year is bigger than the year before."
The sale will continue throughout the week until inventory is sold out.
