Nassau officials observed the Festival of Lights in Mineola Monday night.

Great Neck Legislator Ellen Birnbaum and Nassau County Executive Laura Curran helped light a menorah outside the county legislative building for Hanukkah.

Monday marked the second night of Hanukkah.

As part of the celebration, there was a special performance from the Middle School Choir at the Schechter School of Long Island.
