Fairfield police made a donation to a local organization in the fight against breast cancer.

The Fairfield Police Department presented a check for $1,100 to the Norma Pfriem Breast Center.

The donation came from the Police Union's 2018 Pink Pledge fundraiser where they sold t-shirts during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Center organizers say they are grateful for the support of the police department and the community.

Fairfield police say they have teamed up with the breast center for the past 5 years.
