Drivers battle slick roadways, downed wires and low visibility during winter washout

CONNECTICUT -

A winter washout created hazardous road conditions, knocked down wires and made slick surfaces Friday.

Power lines came down at Comstock Hill Avenue and Blackberry Lane in Norwalk around 7:30 a.m.  Officials appeared to have the road blocked off and a firetruck was stationed at the location.
