Holiday Cheer Bus Elf Ride brings joy to kids fighting cancer

AMITYVILLE -

Some of Santa's helpers spent Sunday delivering toys and smiles to some special Long Island kids.

Volunteers filled buses with donated toys for more than 350 kids that have been affected by cancer and life-threatening illness.

The event marked the annual Holiday Cheer Bus Elf Ride organized by the Kids Need More organization.

More than 13 buses filled with donated toys made stops to visit kids with cancer, from the border of Queens to the East End.
