Hundreds of shoppers flocked to Stew Leonard's in Yonkers to get their holiday groceries.
The store normally opens at 7 a.m. but Fred Salvino, president of the food store, says customers were out waiting at 6:30 a.m. this morning.
He says that they are preparing traditional Christmas Eve meals like the Feast of the Seven Fishes.
Stew Leonard's is expecting to sell about 15,000 pounds of crab legs, 10,000 pounds of shrimp and 115,000 pounds of filet mignon.
Customers who came out to one of the busiest shopping days say it was worth it to get everything they need for their holiday dinner.
