Medical examiner: Stamford mom who fell down subway stairs had pre-existing condition

The New York City medical examiner says the Stamford woman who fell down the stairs of a subway station while carrying her child's stroller appears to have died from a pre-existing condition.
Officials say Malaysia Goodson, 22, did not have significant trauma. The cause of death is still pending.
MTA officials called the incident heartbreaking and say they are investigating with the NYPD and working with the city's medical examiner.
The brother of Goodson told News 12 that Malaysia was shopping in the city with their cousin on Monday when it appears she fell down the stairs inside the subway station.
He says Malaysia graduated from West Hill High School in 2015 and that she was a former day care center worker.
The family says her daughter is doing well.
