The body of a man was pulled from the icy waters of a pond inside Beardsley Park in Bridgeport Thursday, officials say.
Firefighters pulled the man's body from Bunnell Pond around 11 a.m.
They say a passerby first noticed the body sitting about 25 feet from shore, then called 911.
Firefighters used cold-water techniques to pull the body from the water. They say the body was not clothed.
Police say a medical examiner will determine the man's exact cause of death.
Police have not released the victim's identity or said if they suspect foul play.
