At least one Connecticut politician is already pouncing on reports that Amazon's deal to build a second headquarters in Queens may fall through.
The Washington Post, owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, reported that the company is reconsidering its plans for a second headquarters in Long Island City due to growing criticism over the nearly $3 billion incentive package involved.
Gov. Ned Lamont says his redevelopment team has already reached out to Amazon to say Connecticut is more than willing to host the company if the New York deal doesn't work out.
