Official: Student admits to forging letter about e-cigarette policy

An East Brunswick High School student has admitted to forging a letter announcing a change to the school district’s policy on e-cigarettes, according to the school superintendent.
Superintendent Dr. Victor Valeski says that a student admitted to writing the letter and forging Valeski’s signature.
The fake letter stated that students would be allowed to smoke e-cigarettes in the school’s bathroom. It was posted online and concerned parents.
The student’s name was not released.
Valeski says that he does not intend to file charges.
