Bushwick Chabad hosts community Shabbat after possible hate crime

A week after someone shattered a window of a Brooklyn Chabad, congregants invited their community to join them for Shabbat.
Police say a man threw something at a window of the Chabad of Bushwick on Feb. 16. The window has since been repaired, and both congregants and guests lit the Shabbat candles on Friday night.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the Feb. 16 incident as a possible hate crime. Officials have released a video of the man they are looking to question. The rabbi says inviting the community to Shabbat dinner is the congregation's way of responding to hate.
