Police confiscate 110 bags of heroin, cash from car in Torrington

TORRINGTON -

A 66-year-old man was arrested Friday morning in connection to a drug deal involving 110 bags of heroin, News 12 Connecticut is told.

Torrington police say they confiscated the heroin and $2,600 from Leonard Johnson’s car on Main Street, just a short distance away from a nearby Catholic school.

The arrest is the latest in a campaign to crack down on drug dealing throughout the city.
