CT lawmakers to discuss mandatory helmet laws

Connecticut lawmakers will be discussing two mandatory helmet laws this week.

If passed, all motorcycle drivers would have to wear helmets. Doctors say they support this legislation.

Many motorcycle riders say they should be allowed to decide whether to wear a helmet.

The Public Health Committee will be holding a hearing on the bills on Monday, which is open to the public.
