It has been a bad winter for snowplow drivers and the stores that supply them thanks to small accumulations throughout the season.
The National Weather Service says Bridgeport saw just under 11 inches of snow so far this season.
Snow machinery equipment stores like Brandman's in Norwalk already have their spring gear on display. Employee Ross Brandman says he usually sells 120 tons of salt by now, but only one-third of that amount has been sold.
News 12 meteorologists say there is a chance for some significant snow this weekend.
