Officials: 3 killed in Oxford house fire
Three people were killed when flames ripped through a home in Oxford Saturday night, according to authorities.
First responders say they arrived at the property just after 11:20 p.m. to find the building on O'Neill Road completely engulfed in flames.
Officials confirm that three people were killed as a result of the blaze. They say the three adults were found in the building while first responders were working to extinguish the flames.
Neighbors say the flames and sirens could be seen and heard from down the street. They say they were startled by the magnitude of the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by local and state fire marshals.
State police say they will release the identities of the victims after autopsies, which are expected to be done on Monday.
