West Haven mother seriously injured, 6-year-old boy hurt in Orange crash

A 25-year-old West Haven mother was seriously injured and a six-year-old boy hurt after their car lost control and crashed into a tree in Orange, police say.
The incident happened Wednesday on Racebrook Road in Orange near the Woodbridge town line around 10 p.m.
Police say the woman's 2008 Toyota Rav4 was traveling southbound on Route 114 at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center line into the northbound lane and crashed into a tree.
