17th annual Garden State Film Festival takes place in Asbury Park

A heads up for movie fans – The Garden State Film Festival will take place in Asbury Park this weekend.
The festival features a number of films with connections to the Garden State, such as “Tillie,” a horror short-film set at the Jersey Shore.
There is “The Bird Catcher,” a holocaust survival story produced by Edison native Lisa Black.
There is also “Clinton Road,” named after the West Milford street that has legends of ghost sightings.
The festival is now in its 17th year with nearly 250 movies being shown at several venues in Asbury Park.
More information about the festival and a schedule of films can be found on the event’s website.
