A Shelton mother has been charged after police say her baby died at the hospital following an incident where she left her kids home alone.

A Shelton mother has been charged after police say her baby died at the hospital following an incident where she left her kids home alone.
Jessyka Olivera left the children by themselves for a short amount of time in December of 2018, police say.
They say about two hours after she got home, Olivera called 911 for a medical issue her baby was having.
The baby was rushed to the hospital where it later died.
Police have not released the cause of the baby's death.
Olivera has been charged with risk of injury to a minor.
