The Stamford Police Department is reportedly investigating four of their own officers.

The department released a statement on social media asking the public for support and patience.

Officials say they want to be as transparent as possible, but they cannot release any information right now.

The Stamford Advocate has reported that the four officers were put on administrate leave following allegations of manipulating the system used to assign off-duty assignments.
