TORRINGTON -

Police say they made an arrest in connection to an apartment fire last month in Torrington.

Jacob Butler, 20, is facing arson, criminal mischief and reckless endangerment charges.

Police say Butler admitted to lighting a small portion of siding on fire at the Woodland Hill Apartment Complex.

The fire caused an immediate evacuation of the building. Though no one was hurt, several families were displaced due to the damage of the fast-moving fire.
