The London Philharmonic Orchestra performed at the Palace Theatre’s inaugural gala in Stamford Tuesday.
The event honored the late Lloyd Hull, of Greenwich.
Hull’s daughter, Victoria Hull Robey, is the current chairman of the Philharmonic. She said it was a special night for the orchestra and the community.
“We’re very happy to be here,” Robey said. “Being in my home county of Fairfield is an absolute joy.”
Proceeds of the event will benefit the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Stamford Symphony Orchestra and the Young Artists Philharmonic.
