Norwalk Community College hosts annual linguistics fair

Students at Norwalk Community College got the chance to learn different languages at the school’s annual linguistics fair.

The event featured food and had students teaching classmates their native languages, including Chinese, Italian and Arabic.

Professors say it’s important for the school to highlight and honor its diverse student body

The college has students from 75 countries who speak between 40 and 50 different languages.
