Fairfield Ludlowe students learn impaired driving consequences with mock crash

Posted: Updated:
FAIRFIELD -

Students at Fairfield Ludlowe High School will witness a mock crash Thursday to remind them of the dangers of impaired driving as prom and graduation season nears.

Ludlowe juniors will witness the fake crash at the school.

Student actors team up with the town's police and fire departments and Bridgeport hospital to stage the mock crash.

The mock event will show the reconstruction of a fatal crash where several teens are injured as a result of drunk driving.

The school is hoping students will take away an important message.
