A Milford fifth-grader is basking in his big victory on Universal Kids Network's "American Ninja Warrior Junior."
Collin Cella proved he was born to be a ninja, winning the 9- and 10-year-old portion of the competition. He actually won the competition last summer, but had to keep quiet about his win until the show aired.
"It meant so much to me because I came so far and I just went for my all and did it," says Collin.
His big win finally aired last weekend, where he was even with his competition for most of the race before he began to break away. The course's final obstacle made it tight though, but he came away with the win by just .11 seconds.
"You could see the stress on my face just fall right out," says Collin.
Collin's coach April Beckner has been training him since he was 7. She was on the sidelines to see him take the title.
"The buildup was a lot but in the end, it just paid off," says Beckner.
Collin took home $15,000 and a championship medal. But despite that he says he's not done -- he hopes to return to the show and defend his title.
