The United States Postal Service will host its national ‘Stamp Out Hunger' food drive.
The National Association of Letter Carriers will hold the country-wide food drive on Saturday.
Person to Person dropped off thousands of empty bags to the South Norwalk Post Office for the drive on Monday.
Letter carriers are delivering the bags this week.
Postal workers are asking Norwalk residents to fill the bags with donated food items and place them by their mailbox.
All food will go to Person to Person.
Person to Person feeds over 1,500 families per month with their food pantries in Norwalk, Darien, and Stamford.
