Vigil held for missing Stamford man

STAMFORD -

The family of a man who has been missing for nearly a month held a vigil Saturday night at Stamford High School.

Michael McClain was last seen at a nightclub in Nashua, New Hampshire, on April 20. He is a Stamford native but has been living in Manchester, New Hampshire.

His family says they hope he will come home soon and that they are grateful for the community's support at their vigil.

“This can happen to anybody,” says Edward McClain, Michael’s father. “This is something that you read about and see in the papers, but you never think it would hit home. And when it does it home, you just don't know how to act."

Anyone with information about McClain should contact the Manchester, New Hampshire Police Department.

The McClain family has also set up a GoFundMe to aid their search for Michael.
