Friends, family say goodbye to teen who drowned on Memorial Day

A memorial service was held Monday evening for the teen who drowned while swimming with his friends last week.

A memorial service was held Monday evening for the teen who drowned while swimming with his friends last week.

Residents went to Faith Church to say goodbye to 17-year-old Joshua DaSilva.

Police say DaSilva went swimming in Candlewood Lake on Memorial Day when he disappeared under the water. His body was found two days later.

Friends and family say DaSilva was kind and compassionate and will be missed.
