Investigators continue search at trash facility for missing New Canaan mother

Investigators continued their search Saturday at the Hartford trash sorting facility for the missing New Canaan mother last seen on May 24.
Court records show that 50-year-old Jennifer Dulos was going through a divorce from husband Fotis Dolus. It was just a few days before a scheduled hearing that she went missing.
Dulos’ estranged husband Fotis Dulos and Michelle Troconis, his girlfriend, have been charged with evidence tampering and hindering prosecution in connection to the case. Police found evidence of a crime scene in Jennifer Dulos’ New Canaan home and items with her blood on them in trash cans in Hartford. Security cameras captured Troconis and Fotis Dulos throwing out what appeared to be that evidence.
Dulos remains in jail on $500,000 bond. Troconis bonded out.
On Friday, a silver car appearing to carry Troconis was seen leaving Dulos’ home in Farmington.
High-profile criminal attorney Phil Russell, who is not affiliated with the case but has been following it, shared his thoughts on the investigation: “It's pretty clear there's an agreement to cooperate with the prosecution, and I believe in a case that is as pressurized and as time-sensitive as this, the goal is to get the cooperation done and take it on faith and work on the details later.”
Dulos’ divorce attorney recently filed a motion to withdraw from the case.
