GREENWICH -

Hundreds of preschoolers in Greenwich are learning safety techniques Wednesday.

The 275 children took part in the Safety Town program at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center.

The program is offered by the American Red Cross, and teaches awareness and accident prevention skills to children entering kindergarten by using a specially designed kid-sized "Safety Town" layout.

The sessions are being held at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center through June 14.
