Ice cream for breakfast: Stratford ice cream shop opens early for last day of school

Posted: Updated:
STRATFORD -

An ice cream shop in Stratford opened its doors early Thursday to serve up frozen treats in honor of the last day of school.

The line was out the door at ParadIce Cream on Main Street.

Kids tell News 12 they were excited to eat their favorite flavors for breakfast for the first time.

Parents liked it too-and the line was out the door.

Everyone got to order whatever they wanted from milkshakes to hot fudge sundaes.

The store's owner says this was the first time she held the event, and now she plans on making it an annual tradition.
