Guide: Outdoor movie events around Connecticut

Posted: Updated:

Are you a movie lover who is looking for something to do during the summer nights? Here is a list of different movies to watch outside at parks and beaches. While most of the events on this list are free, some may ask for a ticket price. Check the website because dates and times are subject to change.

Here are some tips before you head out:

  • Check event’s website before heading out. Some venues may cancel movie dates due to inclement weather.
  • Arrive early, parking is sometimes limited and spots may fill up fast so be sure to get there early.
  • Check event websites on what you can and cannot bring. Some venues ask for attendees not to bring lawn chairs or alcoholic beverages.
