A local community is mourning the loss of two 20-year-old men who died in a car accident early Sunday morning.
A line of people wrapped around the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home in Monroe Friday afternoon as hundreds came to pay their respects at a memorial service for Philip Zuvanich and Elliot Gregory.
A roadside memorial was set up earlier this week where the accident happened on Route 34 in Newtown. The memorial featured balloons, flowers, gifts and signs reading "We'll miss you" and "I love you."
Gregory played on the Newtown High School lacrosse team.
“He will be remembered for his unselfish, generous heart and his never-ending quick wit,” reads Gregory’s obituary on the funeral home’s website.

Zuvanich's obituary reads, "You couldn't find a funnier, kinder, sweeter guy than Phil."

Police are still investigating what caused the accident.
