Police ID 2 suspects in killing of dog set on fire

West Haven police say two suspects have been identified in connection to the killing of a dog that was set on fire.

It happened at the Sandy Point Beach and Bird Sanctuary parking lot July 5.

Police say one of the suspects was interviewed today and is cooperating with the investigation. They expect arrest warrants to be prepared and submitted to the court for review.
