Seventy-two unwanted babies have been given up since 2000 at hospitals and other facilities since the Safe Haven law, according to officials.
The law allows parents to bring a baby up to 30 days after delivery to hospitals, police stations, and other 24-hour facilities.
Parents face no legal consequences and stay anonymous.
The law was enacted in New Jersey, as well as other states, after a spate of infants had been abandoned and allowed to die.
The Safe Haven Hotline is 1-877-839-2339.
