A Bridgeport man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor he met on Snapchat while using fake profiles to lure them to a home, police say.
Reginald W. Sharp, 33, of Bridgeport, faces charges of sexual assault, enticing a minor using a computer and risk of injury to a minor.
Stratford police say Sharp sexually assaulted the preteen in Stratford on July 23, after meeting the individual on Snapchat.
Police say Sharp, who is a convicted sex offender, used fake profiles on several social media apps to lure the preteen to house in Stratford, where the assault occurred.
He is being held on a $2 million bond.
