Fire officials: Mail carrier helped save Easton home from burning to ground

The Easton Volunteer Fire Department says a mail carrier was critical to saving a home in Easton from burning to the ground.

They say the mail carrier quickly called them when he saw flames on the side of a roof.

Fire officials say thanks to his quick response, they were able to contain the fire to the outside of the home.
