Money and bottles of wine were stolen out of an Easton church during a series of  burglaries, police say.
The most recent incident happened overnight Saturday into Sunday at the Christ Church on Church Road.
Police say $140 and a bottle of wine were stolen.
Police say the cash was removed from envelopes stashed inside an opened cash box and had been offered by congregants.
It appears whoever stole the cash and wine opened a screen on a window outside of the church and climbed inside.
Police say there have been two similar break-ins at the church over the past month and that only bottles of wine were stolen the first two times.
Investigators say they believe the burglaries are connected but say vandalism at the nearby Union Cemetery that happened earlier in July is not connected to the church burglaries.
Anyone with information is asked to call Easton police at 203 268-4111.
