A 17-year-old deaf dog was reunited with her owner after she went missing in Sleeping Giant State park for four days, officials say.
The Hamden Fire Department announced Wednesday on its Twitter account that Sadie the dog had been located after her owner reported her missing Saturday afternoon.
Sadie's owner, Quinnipiac University Communications Dean Chris Roush was out walking Sadie in Sleeping Giant State Park when she got out of her collar and leash and took off.
Roush spent hours searching for her, but eventually had to call it a night before officials found her on Wednesday.
