Officials say a fire broke out at a house in Litchfield following a reported lightning strike in the area Saturday.

They say the fire began around 6:30 p.m. at a home on Highmark Drive.

Multiple towns sent crews to battle the flames. Officials say one firefighter was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The Fire Marshal's office is currently investigating to see if the lightning strike sparked the fire.
